Ritchie Hockey Foundation and Massachusetts’ Winchendon School to Dedicate Ice Arena in Memory of Alumnus, Jason Ritchie ‘05
The Jason Ritchie Hockey Scholarship Foundation and Massachusetts’ Winchendon School announced today the dedication of the School’s ice hockey arena in memory of Jason Ritchie, who graduated from Winchendon in 2005 and was tragically killed in 2009. The arena will be officially named the “Jason Ritchie ’05 Ice Arena” at a dedication ceremony on February 26, 2011 at The Winchendon School. In addition to the arena’s name being memorialized in Jason Ritchie’s honor, the Foundation has made a significant pledge to the School to endow an annual four-year scholarship for a deserving hockey student-athlete.
